Update..

New word on Jen the injured pitcher. She had surgery on her labrum and is now in a sling and doing physical therapy hoping to come back strong in the fall of next year. We are forced for sure to only have three pitchers for the rest of the year, which is extremely hard to do. However, our pitching staff will step up.

Our Corner players are missing...

Updated to our list of injuries is Danni, She was playing in Texas as well when she was making a great play at third to tag an opponent when her knee was dislocated and was takin completely out of the game. We have now found she has a severe injury taking her out for the season. Danni was a star third basemen and will be missed by our team. Hopefully she will be red shirting and can play next year. Finally, I was injured, and am now out for the season because of my acl in my knee. I have had surgery before in my senior year of highschool, I had a complete knee replace ment, and had a cadaver acl put in. Now, I the doctors believe I have retorn my graph of my acl, and now am just waiting to see if I absolutely have to have surgery. I am completely bummed, and Hope I don't have to do surgery again but it looks like I will have to :(

A Team in moarning....

Well, bad news for our team, in the last month we have lost 4 of our starters. 4 of our key players that bring a lot to team chemistry and to our success as a team. Our catcher Brittany was injured in our game against New Mexico State, her hamstring along with two other key quad muscles were torn. This is greatly detrimental to our team, not only does this mean she wont be able to play the rest of the season but now we have the question will she ever be able to catch agaiOur team misses her bat, as well as command on the field. Another injusred player is Jen she is one of our key pitchers, with a nasty change and down ball. However, she was injured while we were in Texas playing, with one fatal pitch her season was over. Her arm hung limp and numb and now we have dicovered she tore her labrum and also has a broken collar bone. She is waiting for surgery. Both of these injuries are horrible and leave us missing a catcher and a pitcher.
