Texas

Texas was fun! Our team struggled to get the big breaks but deep down we are all havin fun in our own ways. The top three pictures are of Kayla, Murph(aka Allissa Murphy), and me. All of these pictures were taken on our plane ride to Texas. The last picture is of Amanda P., Mo, and Amanda S. Believe me these girls are crazy.

Rained out but ready to play!

Where to start, well today is the first day in at least a week that it is sunny. Our team has been practicing inside for the last week with only hopes that we could play. However, the way things are looking we wont be able to practice on a field until game day in Texas this weekend. Even though we are bummed about our field being flooded, we still look forward to this weekend and havin some crazy times on our flight and drive to Texas.

Us cheering on our Football boys

Time to Step it up...

Our first big league tournament is starting on friday, we leave for St. George Utah tomorrow morning, so wish us luck. But for tonight its time for the girls to get together and let off some steam, a few of  the girls on the team are heading over to my house, and our fantastic outfielder Alissa Murphy is doing hair wraps, and for those of you who don't know what that is there will be pictures posted of the event very very soon. We're open from any support from any fans out there, feel free to post back and cheer us on or give any comments.

Is blogging a home run, or a strike out?

I am new to the whole blogging thing, and really I am using it as an opportunity to give insight into San Jose State Softball. I am currently a junior and this is my third year playing, I think this blog will bring life to the players, and show how much fun athletes really have. Our media on school has a page for softball for everyone to view our stats and all our cookie cutter sayings and quotes. THIS IS NOT THAT KIND OF BLOG! I will bring life to the game and keep you updated into the athletics world and break open the mainstream thoughts on college athletics. We have fun and I want to show bloggers what its all about.
